With the way OM finished their season and their recruiting class I don't think you can categorize them as a sleeper.

I'd say UT or AU.

I gotta go with Auburn. I would be surprised if they didn't come out swinging.

Nobody is sleeping on OM.

UT is out because you actually have to be good to be a sleeper.

I'll go with VU.

I'd put Auburn ahead of UT quite honestly. They will score points and keep some games interesting.

Didn't you lose like all of your offensive weapons, plus your head coach?

And the defense was already the worst in the SEC so ......

Its gonna be a rough year for the Vols. You can bank on that prediction.

It wasn't so much the talent as it was the scheme and coaching.

Both of which have changed thankfully, It's gonna be an interesting season

This.

Ole Miss is anything but a sleeper. They'll have a great season, and it won't surprise me in the least.

Their biggest issues have been health on offense and a lack of defensive playmakers in the secondary. Last year Bray was hurt for much of the time, Hunter was out most of the year with his knee, and Prentiss Wagner got hit by the hammer of Jordan Jefferson. Outside of him, they didn't have a whole lot on defense. I'm not sure who is going to be in that secondary, but they are going to need a bunch more to beat some of the air attacks on their sked.

I'm thinking no bowl and a new mother in charge of their football program.

I think I can just post this again this year and be right again. The names will change, but the issues remain. Health on offense, who on earth will play defense for the Vols.

LINK

Here is the objective look at your team. Your offense could be good but it has never been on the field at one time. You will probably, again, have a weak rushing attack when compared to the rest of the conference. Your back 7 on defense will struggle to stop good passing attacks. Prentiss Wagner will continue to be a man without a true position while trying to anchor that group. You have the fire power to beat up on teams that can't get to Bray, but won't have the depth to sustain a real challenge to the top half of the conference. You will continue to be handicapped by a coach who has struggled with ends of games. 7 wins is not out of reach. Neither is a total lower than that. No one hates a 7 win (pre-bowl) team, except Bama.

It really seems like more of the same for you fellas. I'm sticking with my 2012 predictions for 2013.

On defense? You guys were last in the league. I think it had a little to do with talent (or the lack thereof) as well.

2011 D was ranked top 30 in the nation. 2012 D returned 10 starters from 2011.

2012 D finished almost dead last in the NCAA. it was Sal Sunseri.

true freshmen LB AJ Johnson and Curt Maggit are Juniors now.
