Hopefully. I almost tend to trust a 17 year old that is currently playing the game as opposed to UU's rose colored monologues.

Come on man, UU was right in how the defense was just going to dominate in SEC play the past 5 years...

Agreed. He has the athletic ability. I'm excited to see what Pittman can do with him. I really think by the end of the season that our oline will be a big strength.

Every practice there was some defensive player just blowing it up and was going to be all-SEC that year, half of them were never heard of during the season, but by God it wasn't from a lack of talent, just better talent ahead of them on the depth chart.

There should be a lot of new info out tomorrow as Bielema is doing his first spring presser with the media.

Although I could just see our media focusing on why did he close practice instead of actually asking him about practice itself.

Thanks for the link.

I saw a couple of interesting things in there.

-In a shot of what looked to be the first team offense in the background I saw JWill, Allen, Charpentier and Hurd.

-Hatcher and Horton fielding punts.

-Alan Turner is waayyy bigger than when he first got here.

-Brandon Mitchell looks huge when standing next to Brandon Allen

- There were doing a line drill where Swanson, Boyd and Ward were all on the line together.

-Kody Walker was working out with the RB's.

Bo Mattingly ?@SportsTalkwBo
Bielema: At linebacker we have the biggest amount of area to grow... We're going to start moving guys around in there.

Bo Mattingly ?@SportsTalkwBo
Bielema says he will almost certainly pick one QB and stick with him. Says a QB with "special skills" could get on the field elsewhere.

Bielema: I watched a little bit of film just to watch SEC play... I watched a lot of SEC vs SEC that didn't involve us.

quote:

Bo Mattingly ?@SportsTalkwBo
Bielema on watching film: I wanted my first impression to be the truth. I didn't want to watch film until I got a chance to work with them.
