Do all teams do this on their home field or just us..I asked the question about a batter that reached on error and was told it was changed to a hit. After the game. if it helps our averages I do not care.but must be pretty common in the SEC

I'm pretty sure this is standard practice in all levels of baseball.

I'm not sure. Ask Benjarvis how that works.

They just correct themselves. It is not done with any bias...or should not be.

yes I guess but when the ball is fielded and thrown over the firstbaseman head you reached by a error...Then a hour later it is ruled a hit.If I was the pitcher I would not like that

Being a subjective thing, baseball scorekeeping is not an exact science. An official scorer has leeway to change a judgment call after a game has ended, and is supposed to give the benefit of doubt to the batter when unsure about a ruling. I've seen changed rulings with fast runners -- example: the scorekeeper decides a runner would have beaten the throw to first even though the throw was in the dirt, over the first baseman's head, etc... That said, obvious errors are obvious.
