Need SEC approval first, Chief.

LSU seems like a likely candidate but i'm gonna go with a darkhorse and say A&M if it ever happens.

Does anyone have a non school owned stadium?

SEC will open this up once there is a negative shift in some revenue source and schools need to either cut spending or open up a new stream of $.

I think this will happen eventually. Once they lose enough attendance and other schools doing it to generate more revenue a change will eventually be made.

WMS is owned by the city of Little Rock, and they do not serve alcohol.
They do serve Coke instead of Pepsi, which automatically makes WMS > RRS!
KIDDING, Hog fans! No GSD here!

Don't know about this, but isn't South Carolina's stadium pretty far off campus? They would be a good candidate to make this happen.

i could see ole miss starting it out by banning alcohol in their outfield and selling it instead.

I'm all for it. Let's see, sit in my A/C and watch the game with a bevy of beer options and good food and watch in HD or spend my valuable weekend time and money going to games and paying inflated hotel prices and not being able to relax and drink a cold one while paying $8.00 for a water and 4.00 for a room temperature soggy hot dog.

I think it could turn into utter chaos if the SEC started selling alcohol at its games.

The only reason they're considering it is to get their fans to be louder (inb4omgbigbrololololol, ask Kenny Vacarro). The SEC schools don't need it to keep rowdy fans in their chairs, so why would they take on the liability?

im sure they would have to do a study but i would imagine the extra revenue would cover any type of liability expense.

If it wasn't turned into utter chaos at West Virginia, then I think we'll be fine.
ETA: I would bet at least 40% of attendees at SEC football games are drunk and or drinking during the game.
