Edit: Horrible thread title, I know (Maybe even a horrible thread).
In the greatest troll thread ever, MSU fans were saying they don't have statutes because "no player is above the program." To that I say bullshite. Auburn fans use to hate statues...until we got them. Now we hate statues of coaches but statues of players are cool. I hate how Alabama counts national championships but if Auburn counted championships in a similar way I would probably support it.
So, let's stop trying to pretend the we know why certain athletic departments do things in a certain way. Let's also stop pretending one school's policies about statues, championships, and banners are more "pure" than those of other schools.
One day, Mississippi State will have statues, and they're fans will love them.

How does the general point remain? Your whole basis for the thread was based on something that doesn't exist.
If you could provide other examples of people's opinions being dependent on the policies of their university then it might work out.

Very true. I was simply trying to imply that as the plains burned was the beginning of the massive influx of trolls haha. The rant before that season for the 1.5 months I was on before the cam newton shite was actually really good source of info

I kind of agree with your general point but what the hell are we going to talk about if we "stop trying to pretend we know [fill in the blank]..."
The whole point of the Interwebz is to spew hot air about things we all pretend we know about.
