Giving props to the cop that helped a friend of mine out on the interstate.

My friend was driving along on I-10 this afternoon and he was running some errands. His truck craps out and he pulls over and his battery is low on juice.
Along comes a deputy from the sheriff's office and he decides to help him out and jump his truck using his police tahoe. He could've just barely did the minimum by calling out motorist assistance but this cop went the extra mile and jumped his truck using his police tahoe that has a more powerful engine and battery than your average vehicle. Also, according to my friend, the cop had his own cables.
If not for this cop, my friend would have had to pay for triple A or something like that.
It's things like this that makes people think better of cops.

Damn! A cop did a nice thing for the people who pay his salary?! 'Bout damn time. Proud of that guy. I hope he can stay that way before the pressures of douchebadgery [sic] take over.
