Next year I'll be attending Georgia and will have to leave my beloved Taco Mac in Buford. I'm a huge wings fan, and I'll need a place to get me through the year. Any suggestions?

Wingster and Bulldawg Pizza off Baxter or Buffalo's on Alps are the first places that come to mind.

Copper Creek has 40 cent wings on Thursday that are pretty damn good.

Amici has a wing special Wednesday(I think) and those are probably better.

Wingster is great for late night drunk food but I never want it sober.

Herchel's new place has a lot of different flavors but I got a sandwich when I went. They looked good though.

I think the Hubee D's place they put on Lumpkin is pretty good. There ain't much quite like Taco Mac wings, though.

I would avoid them on gamedays. Service was terrible when I went there with some buddies to watch the NCG. We had like 3 different waiters for one order. We had to constantly remind them to bring out our pitcher of beers, wings came out cold, and fries were already stale.

I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt because the place was packed but still....

If you folks ever get around st Simons and Brunswick ya gotta hit skinny Petes for wings, buffalo wild wings is next door to them pretty much but don't be enticed by all the show in bww, the food is second tier to skinny Petes. They have a family special 50 wings 2 large fries and a gallon of tea for 32 bucks that I get at least every other week. Good tips on Athens wings I'll checkem out next time iI'm up there.
