3. Basketball season continues on long enough to get to the start of the MLB season because college baseball is useless until June.

I think this team has major flaws and were a tad bit overrated to start the season.
The pitching is fine. Opponents scored 13 runs on our staff this weekend, which isn't bad at all. Butler needs to either put up this year or put foot to pavement.
The lack of experience was shown this weekend with the new comers.

Butler didn't deserve his raise. I feel like it was slipped in because we lucked into Omaha last year.

We can't get Fico back fast enough. Even when our bats went cold last year mid season he was still hitting decent.
As was said, we definitely showed our inexperience this weekend.

I was talking more about how our team could improve on the field rather than how we could improve the perception of our fanbase on a website

Is anyone else concerned that DVH sticks with Butler no matter what? Reminds me of Norm and how he stuck with Doug Clark. . . . That cost us a lot of wins.

If DVH thought Todd Butler was a problem would he still be here?
Small ball is what DVH and Butler teach. It works sometimes, but not always. Good with the bad, as long as we get to Omaha occasionally you won't see any changes...

Butler would be great if he didn't think it will still 1996. He doesn't have them adjust, he just teaches them to swing for the fences, that shite don't work now.
Only reason Butler is still here is because he is such a great recruiter.

I am fine with keeping Butler on staff but I want a big name hitting coach hired. Butler can be chief recruiter if he is so great.

He works the count and walks, that's why he leads off. He can get the occasional single.
