Did he commit? Didn't see that.
Don't mind taking a project if we get this Rutgers PG.
His last 14 games, he averaged 9ppg, 3rpg, 3apg, and 46% from 3pt in the Big East on a shite team with a mental coach.
God would that ever be huge for the team to get this steal late for next year.

There's a chance Seagears leaves this weekend as a Hog. Very high on the hogs.

But Buzz did an in-home visit this past week.
HiV will not be pleased if he leaves a hog.

haven't seen you in a while
HiV is still on the "Anderson can't recruit" bandwagon.
2012 - 2 Top 150 signees
2013 - 2 Top 40 signees, one McD's AA
2014 - Top 60 PG commit so far, looks to be possibly another top 15 class

They are saying Portis was going to go to Arkansas no matter who the coach was, so he don't count.
Beard had no other real options, Mizzou had a better PG lined up, I don't feel like explaining that he was committed to Mizzou earlier this year an they only moved on to this other PG when he moved on from them.
So this PG must be Mike's 45th cousin or nephew, only logically explanation for his interest in Arkansas.
Right now they are in a huge circle jerking off because Mick is getting to go to Kansas, just another example of Mike's "failure" as a coach, apparently the entire team should have been built around him and Mike's coaching style adjusted to Mick's "needs" and "style of play" these past two years, he will get that from Self at Kansas, apparently.

Kansas has scholarship bench players too.
Mickelson wasn't a hard worker. That's like being a shitty RB for Bret Bielema.
Maybe, maybe not, but just about every school in the country tried to get him to visit, but he said no.
G-Town, LSU, Florida St all wanted him badly, terrible schools.
Chris Chiozza? That dude is IJ Ready small. 5-9/150.

You forgot that we only got Kingsley because he was friends with Portis.
Over there Mike doesn't get credit unless it fits their argument.

Yeah, they keep talking about the weight "Mike forced him to gain" this year, he put on 10lbs, 10 fricking pounds, and that ruined him, apparently.

Well, the other guy in the class had a school named Louisville after him, but after Louisville won the NC this year, the mantra became he and Portis were a package deal and Arkansas was the only school that needed two bigs this year.
Every fricking school the country would have made room for those guys this year.

G-Town is decent.

That's the one, new spin is he is just like Pressey (who a month ago was a horrible fit for Haith and Mizzou on the board) and a "true PG" while Beard is a combo guard and a "scorer" not a shooter or good ball handler.

Its funny because he needs to put on a lot more than just 10 pounds.

Haven't been over there in months, thanks for the update Dale so I don't get hammered and tempt my web browser.

HA said he was told by both Self and Stevens he should be playing at 220-225 as a "stretch 4".
I forgot about "stretch 4" that is the new favorite phrase over there since Mickelson found it what Division one basketball was like, it wasn't the fact he was finally going up against guys his size or anything, it was he wasn't being used as a "stretch 4" as a problem and "the system" but don't look up Powell's height and weight...

Rutgers transfer Jerome Seagears will likely decide his landing spot by the end of the weekend, per a source. Auburn + Arkansas in mix.

Rutgers transfer and point guard Jerome Seagears said Arkansas Coach Mike Anderson was the most impressive part of his official visit this weekend. He called him a great man.
He was able to play pickup ball with the current players and believes the Hogs could make a big run in the NCAA tournament. He said they need a floor general and he believes that could be him.
Seagears said Saturday night's experience at the Catfish Hole was great. He said he wished he could call every fan and thank them.
He said as of now Arkansas and Auburn are his two schools. He was to visit Baylor next week but isn't sure if he'll take that trip. He said he'll probably make his decision in a week or two. He wanted to make sure to tell the fans Woo Pig Sooie.
