I'd actually rank the top 5 and put Spurrier ahead of Richt.

I'd give Spurrier the #3 spot by himself, even possibly move him into a tie with Miles.

I would agree with this. Actually, I would give James Franklin the #4 spot and Richt #5 right now. Franklin has kids WANTING to go to Vandy. No easy task. As far as Spurrier is concerned, he is one of the winningest coaches all time in the SEC, as well as winning at a high level at a school that has never had consistent success, so he gets the #3 spot to himself.

1. Nick Saban
2. Les Miles
3. Steve Spurrier
4. James Franklin
5. Mark Richt

I need to see Sumlin win at that level for at least 2 more years before I move him up.

I'd put Steve over Les if entire history is taken into account.

Because he's doing it at USCe.

I was thinking Spurrier #3 not counting his BCSNC. Was basing it strictly off of his USCe tenure which would tie him with Ritch imo. If you add his Florida then yea he may even be as high as 2. Sumlin does get honorable mention, would just like to see what he can do this year now that JFF has gone Hollywood.

If you're going to put Franklin up there, you have to give credit for Spurrier doing what he's done at USCe. Not exactly easy to win there.
