Napier doesn't stay at FSU long and takes over as WR coach for Alabama.

I can't speak to his WR coaching abilities, but he is EASILY one of the top 20 recruiters in the nation. This guy is absolutely relentless on the recruiting trail and will help Alabama continue to dominate everyone in talent aquisition. He'd be an ace on 99% of the staffs in America. No clue where he'll be on Alabama, but he's a stud recruiter.

Congrats. Keep him away from Clemson.

Why'd he leave CSU after one season?

He was using McElwain as a stepping stone for a better job.

He had to restart his career as a GA at Bama, then hitched on to McElwain as a position coach for CSU, then took the biggest job he could get.

Mike Groh actually followed a similar path after being fired from UVA...
