Do UF fans think they have a legit shot to take him away from the Buckeyes? Is he high on UF?

Miller really likes the idea of a 3-4, and at the same time I think Thornton is confused by it.
Bates was supposedly locking people down in 1-on-1s in coverage at one of the underclassmen combines. Not sure to what extent being a legacy will affect his recruitment.

No.
We are in that 3-5 range IMO. Long ways to go though, and a lot will depend on if he verbals to OSU in a few weeks.

Miller is a UF/Bama battle right now IMO. I doubt being a legacy to SCe really matters in his recruitment.
Thornton is a guy that moved to Bama from Texas who has always loved UF. He doesn't have the pressure like a lot of Bama kids who grew up there to attend AU or UA. He is a guy that many UF "insiders" feel really good about. Some say he's a possibility to commit this weekend. With that being said, he is one that even if he commits, UF will have to stay on him constantly.

I expect Thornton to be playing in the state of Florida in the future. Even with Bama hiring his HC, it's not gonna put them in it much. Someone has told him though that Bama's OLB position will not allow him rush the passer, so there's that.
There are a lot of high profile LBs that are legacies this cycle; Dillon Bates, Rashaan Evans, and Christian Miller. I'm sure there are more as well.

3rd commit of the day?

We didn't want Miller. His dad is a pain and is always bashing the Gamecocks on local radio. His son fits y'all's scheme better then ours too. Look around and learn if you will.

Hahaha.
What do you mean by look around and learn?
We will gladly take the best player out of your state since Clowney.

LMAO best player? Like 6th or 7th. Shaq Davidson is best player in state this year. Have fun having a 200 pound lb...

Christian Miller is our best in state prospect? C'mon.
Anyways, if you go to most Gamecock sites you'll see that starting a/b a month ago there was controversy over us not recruiting him that heavily. His dad played for us and has high visibility due to his radio show and was more than a little upset a/b us not showing more interest. Congrats on landing him, though.

Lol you guys know more than the top SCe insider and lead analyst of arguably the top network right now. He covers a lot on the SCe site as well.

JC Shurbrutt is the top Gamecock insider and he is mostly right and CEO of 247. Tweet him about Miller and he will say the same thing I say about Miller. Have a nice night ladies.

Not sure what you mean. But I'm a paying subscriber to Gamecock recruiting sites and that's where my info comes from. No one is saying we wouldn't take a commitment from the guy. He obviously is a tremendous athlete. Just saying we were not prepared to offer him at his natural position.

There's next to zero chance Miller comes to Clemson, and even I know this is a moronic statement.
-Miller won't even be the best player in the state in the year he comes out (the state of South Carolina is loaded next year).
-Miller wouldn't be the best player in the state this past cycle (Hill and Boulware were both better)
-Miller wouldn't be the best player in 2012's class (Roland and Lawson were both better)
-And Miller wouldn't even be the 2nd best player in Clowney's class (Shell, Dukes and Peake are probably all better prospects)
