With Noel out, is Johnny O'Bryant now the best big man in the SEC?

He had 30 points and 10 rebounds last night against USCe.

Averages 13 points and 8 rebounds this year.

I say yes.

No. Holloway is averaging a double double. Buckner is better too.

If you go based off season numbers than no

but if you've seen him the last 8 games you'd def say yes

What I'm thinking as well. JOB has really improved over the past few weeks. It's been fun to watch.

O'Bryant is a great player, but wouldn't even start at Florida more than likely. So the answer is no.

He was terrible for awhile there but i think its pretty obvious now his two injuries he was playing through were really hampering him. Apparently he's healthy now or at least it seems that way.

A case can be made for best big man in the conference but its certainly not clear cut.

He is good, but hands down it's Patric Young and I don't think it's that close.

JOBIII has been very good lately, but he still isn't top big guy in the SEC. Personally I think Patric Young is the top guy, but it's also tough to argue against Holloway from OMiss. I think he is right behind those two though and still improving. As only a So he has a lot of room to grow and improve as a player.

Patric Young is better IMO. Holloway as well. No disrespect to O'Bryant though. I think those two guys are just that good right now.

He has really come on in SEC play this year after getting healthy. Tied for most double-doubles this season in the SEC.
