I'm not ok with the way things were handled and no apology for that.
If you are ok with a very late hire, that's your choice. It put Ray at a huge disadvantage in recruiting.

He's JUCO.. Southwest. The time isn't correct. It's just what they have up. Most games they list him as only playing 1 minute, but taking 20 shots.
edit: Points not right either.. Average is higher.
Example game 1. Made 6 FT, 2 3s, and 8 fgs. that's 28 points. They listed it as 24.
pretty much off on all of them. Game 2 off by 4, 3 off.. etc.

6 FT = 6 pts
2 3's = 6 pts
(8 FG is 6 2-pt and the two 3's already mentioned.)
6 2's = 12 pts
Total = 24 pts.

A better plan would have been to let Stans go one year earlier -- and given a new coach a stacked deck with Bost, Sidney, Moultrie, Bryant, Steele, Hood, Gardner, DeVille, etc...
That would have been a MUCH EASIER hire to make.

How many of the guys he is having trouble with are actually Ray's signees? Oh, that's right...Zero. One in the upcoming class had character concerns. What did we do? Cut the string.
I fail to see how it's Ray's fault that practically EVERY Stansbury returnee has a major smoking problem and can't get their shite together enough pass a piss test... Much less failing the 2nd and 3rd ones when they KNOW the consequences.
I know one damn thing -- I don't see players ignoring Ray in the huddle. I don't see them mouthing back at him on the bench. I don't see them brawling in the stands in wifebeaters. I don't hear NONSTOP rumors of locker room drama and cancers. I don't see our big men 40+ pounds overweight for THREE FULL YEARS. I obviously don't see them skipping basketball workouts with Akins nonstop(hence the staying out of shape). I don't see them walking up and down the floor and dropping 10+ points/game to PURE laziness.
No, what I see is 6-7-8 guys that play hard and play together, are in shape, listen to the coach, and are taking their lumps right now and will be better for it in the future. The negativity without any semblance of reason makes it difficult for me to even see some of you enjoy success in the future.
Al's the first one to bash Ray. But he's the first one to post about Cohen...after nonstop bashing him as well.

Ware, sword, Thomas, Johnson, lewis, etc etc are stans recruits.
They are all, all Ray's players and this is his team. You can not have it both ways.
Was smith not drama? Is Steele not drama? Again, you can't have it both ways. You can take the big over weight player crap out of here too. In all of stans years, there was one player like that. Everything you are pointing mainly revolves around sidney. I can name you many more players on that very team that did not walk up and down the floor.... That did not show up over weight, that busted their butts to play for stans at msu.
As far as Al bashing, that's a two way street, and you are smart enough to know that. You can knock stans all you want. It's a free country. However, the banners and success of what he die at msu will be the selling card for future recruits. You know it, and I know it.

I have shown that stans left this team in good shape as far as talent. That includes the talent of last year's class. Yet you want to bash him and it serves no point but to ease your feeling on the current situation.

Those SEC West Banners are so meaningful the SEC decided not to recognize an SEC West champion anymore.
Hell we've one the west before and didn't even make the tourney.
