Anyone familiar with the area? Kids are grown, good schools not a necessity. Would kind of like a country atmosphere.
Thanks
Thanks

I don't think you'll have a problem there, the LRSD is a Federally mandated clusterfrick.
Piggy and sugatown know all things LR. They'll steer ya right.

Need more info...About a 20 minute commute from West Little Rock to Downtown in the AM. I live right outside city limits near Chenal. There are several places with 5 acre plots that are currently for sell...
FYI - I-630 is a clusterfrick right now. Should have work done in by 2015 which should help a ton

For a country feel, I would look out far West LR (like towards Roland), Benton or Cabot. Your commute will not be fun (about 30 min. depending on where you're working) but you can get some land out in those areas.
ETA: out towards Ferndale (Kanis Road) is also an option. All depends on how much you want to spend.

West Little Rock is your best bet.

WTF? I don't mind hating on LSU fans on the rant. I'll give em a pass here

Conway and Maumelle are within 30 minutes, but I'd stick to WLR.

He said "country feel." Benton & Cabot are faaaaaar more country than anywhere in LR. All depends on what he means by "country."

Why do people not live on the east side of the river? Out towards England on 165? Is is it just farmland around the oxbows? Bad flood area and impossible to get land?
Seems like it would be a quick commute downtown with little traffic and lots of elbow room out there.

I've got a friend who lives out there. He bought a bunch of farm ground around Toltec and lives in that gated community. They've enjoyed it.

Yep, lots of development out there. Only problem I have with it is that you're 20 minutes away from a decent grocery store.
Although you are closer to Keo...and PIE!
