i like to keep tabs on a few guys from my hometown, so any of you have any opinions on ryan brown, torrey dale, and quadry antoine, and how they have been looking.. preciate it fellas

These are Louisiana guys that committed to State within the last couple of years, but unfortunately, I haven't heard much on them lately. I know they have high hopes for several of those guys.

I hope to hear plenty from Quadry Antoine this year for no other reason that he has a cool arse name and I want to hear Jim Ellis try to pronounce it.

Ryan Brown had a great freshman year at DE and picked up a few sacks, but he might have less playing time this upcoming season because he will have to fight Chris Jones for time.
Quadry will be fighting for a starting spot this fall.
Torrey Dale redshirted, so I cant tell you much.

Ryan Brown played a lot this past year and had a couple of Sacks. Will battle for the starting DE job this year.
Torrey Dale redshirted but I hear he blew up in the weight room and will get a lot of reps at DE this fall.
Quadry Antoine also redshirted and will battle for a backup safety spot. I expect him to be involved in a lot of special teams.
We also signed 2 Nola kids in WR Shelby Christy from Dutchtown and QB Jermaine Williams from Rummel
