I like Hugh, knew him in Memphis

It was a good article and reminded me a bit of what AU did when Chiz came to town. Tubberville seemed comfortable looking for diamonds in the rough or rehabbing kids with eligibility concerns. It is as if he accepted that AU wasn't going to be able to get the top recruits, so why try. Chiz and staff came in and decided to go after the top guys and were determined that AU belongs in the race for those guys. While we got burned sometimes, it has improved our recruiting tremendously.
Freeze decided Ole Miss could compete and they did. Having some built in in roads helped them over come the lack of national exposure.

The only thing that gets me in the whole process is the blatant hypocrisy of other SEC schools saying we're cheating. It's a joke

Chizik absolutely sucked and got fired once the Tubberville players and Cammy Cam left. Are you really endorsing the Chizik plan that left Auburn with less scholarship players than USC, who is facing severe probation?

He meant the mentality of going after elite HS and JUCO talent not their execution of said plan. They still got a MNC so why would they bitch about it?
