Best class in the Big 12: Texas. Would be 8th best in the SEC.
Best in the Pac 12: UCLA. Also 8th in the SEC.
Best in the ACC: Florida State. Would be 6th in the SEC.
Best in the Big East: Rutgers, who would be 12th in the SEC ahead of only Kentucky and Missouri.

Even more interesting, check Scout by comparison.

I thought the SEC would hit critical mass and then implode years ago. Instead it just gets more beastly. Mad Respeck to all of you.

If they ever kept the top in-state talent in New Jersey, they would be a force almost every year.
They lost a lot of the top kids in-state this year and still got the best class in their confence. Wow the Big East sucks.
What conference is Louisville being counted in? I thought they were doing well?

I think in most of the recruiting services they're ranked behind us. I want to say Rivals had us at 30 and them in the 50s, even coming off that Sugar Bowl win.
I'm assuming they're counted in the ACC though.

I looked for Louisville, they aren't doing that well.
Forgot that Rutgers is now in the Big ForgotTEN, so I guess the Big East has nobody in the top 50.

Its like the snowball continuing to gather size and momentum rolling downhill.
But where is the bottom?

Auburn 2012 Record?

I still think it will happen at some point down the road. Things are just going a little too well for the conference.
This kind of feels like the "steroids era" in baseball when McGuire and Sosa were cranking out homers.

When we grow to 32 teams, officially tell the NCAA to pound sand, formally align with the NFL and change our name to the NFL Development League.

I guess you're dearth of reading comprehension skills led you to misunderstand the question.
