Meh. The only ones who think they undid anything or rep the base are fans of the equivelant on the other side. If someone can't see it as a disturbed individual doing either, then they are closer to their thought process than they'd like to think. Imho.

As an Alabama alum, I agree with this and wish that all Bama fans felt the same way. I hate to see anyone support what either did and it also makes me sick when anyone says "They're just trees." They're not just trees. I try to remember what a Vols fan said to me at our 09 game when another of their fans was being a jerk, "We all have fans we can't be proud of."
I'm sorry for the loss, Auburn fans. I used to work at the Graduate School and I always liked that corner.

Frick off - everyone understands Updyke is mentally ill. However, you are crazy if you don't think his actions gave the fanbase a black eye....
I can't stand when Bama fans excuse Updyke even in jest.... his actions might be one of the worst examples of unsportsman like behavior that i can think of......Updyke is deranged but he did what did in Bama's name and, fairly or unfairly it tainted the reputation of the fanbase.
