Does Kentucky make the NIT this year?

Hard fought game tonight in a setting that would of made Rupp felt at home, but I doubt Kentucky can get to the NCAA tournament this year so the discussion has to take a turn to the serious nature of if the NIT is a sure lock.
Kentucky doesn't really have a "resume" win in the non-con portion of the schedule. They have to play Florida twice, vs Mizzou, @Arkansas, @Tenn, vs Carolina and @ aTm, all of which could be losses.
If Kentucky does manage to make the NIT on name alone, does Cal's seat start getting hot? Making the NIT was about the time the honeymoon with BCG started going south.

All I know is that Arkansas s season will end after a first round loss at the SEC tournament.

With the Harrison twins coming next year? Not even warm.
SEC better hope we go on a run and that some of these kids don't return.

UK has 4 top 10 players coming in next year. If any of these guys end up staying, it will be ugly in the SEC next year. Probably look a lot like last year.

They'll be a Cinderella this year.

Actually we don't give a crap about basketball. That's part of the reason UK is so successful

What's worse than the NIT? They'll make that.

Sitting at home.
The CBI is right behind the NIT, Pitt won it last year.
Then there is the CIT, but it is geared more toward the mid-majors, a power conference school has yet to be selected to play in it.

The highlighted portion is the only part I believe the OP actually holds to be true.

Why are the Arkansas posters consistently the biggest dumbasses on the SECr?
