Is it possible to get a degree from UGA online?

I don't want to be a sidewalk fan anymore but I'll be damned if I'll be able to actually go to Athens. These classes I'm taking now will hopefully transfer over and I'm looking for something in Business.

This is all for when I get out in December and I'll most likely move to Columbus because I still need to work and support my family. Is this possible or should I just get a degree elsewhere? I assume I'd be better off calling the school but I figured I'd give this a shot.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), no. You can get one from UF or Bama, though.

I read a interview just recently that Boykin was taking classes at UGA online. So UGA doesn't offer online classes?

Not from Terry.

The do offer night classes in Gwinnett though.

They have online CLASSES, but you cannot get a full degree that way. All classes are not offered online.

Sorry, man. I looked into the option a long time ago. Nothing has changed on that front since then. Fortunately I live in Athens, so while I worked at UGA, I finished my degree then.

For 10 grand in small, non-sequential and unmarked bills, I can get you a degree. I will send you the PO box if you are interested.

Sidewalk fans are cool with me. Bandwagon fans, on the other hand...

I doubt we have too many of those, though.

Currently, the only undergrad degree you can get fully online is a B.S.Ed. In Special Education. There are several graduate level degrees offered. More info here:

Definitely not bandwagon. Things just never seemed to line up for me to attend. The Corps was more important to me when I was 18 apparently

Well, there you go! Guess it HAS changed since I last looked into it. Still not a degree I would have gone for, but if they have that one now, perhaps they'll add additional options before long.

Yeah that's what I was looking at earlier. Bummer. I don't want to go to Bama or Florida

What exactly is the difference between a sidewalk fan and a bandwagon fan?

My definition is:

Sidewalk Fan - Never attended the school, cheers for that school regardless

Bandwagon Fan - Alabama fans

Bandwagon fan

This person jumps on the bandwagon because of a team's success. The worst offenders are the ones who have absolutely no connection with a particular state or city; they just chose a team out of thin air - and that team is never the Cleveland Browns.
