Nah, I really like this "Move it to Opelika" idea

Not in any SEC college town ( ), and gets it out of Birmingham but still has it in a centralized location

Honestly it should probably be in Atl.

Not that I think that would really change much, but it would at least help perception wise.

Build Slive a custom 787, call it "SEC One" and have the entire conference office fly a loop above Houston, Nashville, and Atlanta. It only touches down to pick up food and for rare public appearances.

Or buy a nuclear submarine and have the office at "An undisclosed location, somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico".

Should be moved out of Birmingham. Doesn't matter where, but I'd be willing to bet that Bammer fans would be throwing a fit if it were in BR or College Station

First of all UA is in Tuscaloosa not Birmingham. 2nd I couldn't care less if they move the SEC office to LSU's campus and have Slive and Les Miles sharing an office.

I would say Oxford, but Slive couldn't travel to Atlanta from Oxford since no one would be able to give him directions.

Red Elephant Club. It's a group of several hundred (maybe more by now) members. There are groups all over the state. There is usually a waiting list to be in it. Rival fans think it is some ubber organized cheating ring. What they fail to realize is that with as many members as there are in the REC, there is no way they can organize a cheating strategy and implement it. Not saying there aren't rogue guys out there and hundred dollar handshakes like everywhere, but there is no way the "REC" buys cars and does the bidding of Bama. In fact, at every REC meeting I've ever attended or heard of, if a Bama coach is there he emphasizes (repeatedly) something along the lines of "be a fan only. we don't need your help recruiting."

The SEC office is too close to one program for it not to have some bias

It's actually about 45 minutes from Bama and about 90 minutes from AU. Why is it people only assume bias toward one of the two teams in the same state as the SEC offices?

Wisdom, borne from the bitterness of experience.

I've heard that if you say REC 3 times backward it sounds like Illuminati?

It's obvious. Destin, FL would be the ideal location! Plus, no one would mind traveling there.

Gotcha.

Similar to the secret society of A&M alums who wear their Aggie ring on their left hand.

We have one of those.

It's the "Association of people who decided to step on the University Seal".

They're all dead now
