, but I can see how folks who didn't grow up like that would enjoy it. Kind of the same with tailgating on campus. I went to school here (twice) and work here, so the last thing I want to do on my day off is stand around at work.

My parents have houses in Destin. I spent all my summers growing up there.
BTW Pensacola/Mobile area =/= Destin/PCB/FWB area

So far as beaches go, the Gulf Islands NS part of Pensacola Beach was the best, hands - down, in terms of scenery back before Opal, Ivan, and Dennis destroyed it.

I am was born and raised in Dothan. Most of my family and my wife's family lives in Southeast Alabama, Southwest Georgia, Florida Panhandle.
My in-laws have a house at the West End of Panama City Beach in Laguna Beach. That is one of the things I miss living here.

We stayed there when I was in 10th grade. A couple of us snuck out and met up with some friends that were at the beach. We got shite faced. Best church trip ever.

my family has a place behind the christian retreat on 14th, haven't been there in a while though since my mom lives in Pensacola now
