What was Saban's record in year one at Alabama PAWL?

I'll hang up and listen

Saban had already won a BCSNC exactly 2 seasons of his earlier. He was known.

Treadwell will do fine so long as he doesn't whistle at the white women. Fellow Chicagoan Emmett Till learn that rule the hard way.

I think the rest of the SEC would rather see Ole Miss and MSU load up on talent than the real powers of the conference.

Ole Miss will always be a pretender, they can't even get to Atlanta. Even MSU has done that.

Who gives a frick? Freeze has been a champ everywhere he's been, and it looks like he's continuing that trend. He's started off his first season the exact same way Bama did going 7-6 his first year. Feel like a dipshit yet, or do you want to continue to make a fool of yourself and keep talking?

ESPN chimes in on Freeze.....

quote:

This Hugh Freeze guy really knows what he's doing when it comes to recruiting. We thought he was OK at it when he closed with a strong class before his first season as Ole Miss' coach, but he revved things up a notch in his second class.

After a very successful first year that ended with bowl berth and victory for the first time since 2009, Freeze made news again with a monster commitment from Laquon Treadwell of Crete, Ill. Treadwell, is the nation's No. 1 receiver and the No. 19 prospect in the ESPN 150.

"I wanted to be a part of something special," Treadwell said. "The program is on the rise with the new coaching staff. (Freeze) is changing the culture, and I want to be a part of changing the Rebel culture."

Adding Robert Nkemdiche, the No. 1 respect in the ESPN 150, would make the 2013 recruiting class arguably the best in school history.

So far, this class has been very special, but it could get even better. Right now, the Rebels own the nation's No. 19 class with 22 commitments, five of whom are ESPN 300 members. But things are far from over for Ole Miss' 2013 class. ESPN recruiting guru Dave Hooker wrote after Treadwell's commitment that this could be the first domino to fall in what could be a fantastic finish for Freeze and this class.

7-6. Also Bama has a record of 50-8-2 against Ole Miss. Just a fun fact.
