Am I the only KC native on the Rant? I think BreakawayZou lives in KC, but I don't think he's from here. Anyone else on here a KC native, or am I the lone ranger?

Born and raised St. Louis here but not one of those born and raised that can't stand the other side of the state. Love KC and the Royals. Grew up to George Brett as much as any Cardinal. Cards had a rough go through that time.

Columbia. So I got my choice of which of the two cities I liked better. Definitely preferred Kansas City, and you'll never have to worry about me rooting for the cardinals.

Let's tell the whole truth, shall we..

You're from Chicago and you have StL Cardinal envy.

Born in KC at St Lukes's Hospital....

Raised on a ranch about 25 miles south. I consider myself a KC native.

I'm from Hannibal, MO. I actually grew up looking like and fishing like young Tom Sawyer in the picture you posted.

Hannibal, MO owns Mark Twain, Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn stuff. We are "America's Town".

Therefore, the Northeast side is the best side. Plus, we're only an hour and a half from Cardinal baseball.

Win, win.

True, from Chicago. However hate does not equal envy.

I gotta go with my friend Tom on this - Southeast Missouri FTW! (Specifically, Cape Girardeau!)

I bet life on the Mississippi was pretty cool in the late 19th century.

And in Cape, some things haven't changed!

Seriously, they love the river heritage and history. And it's pretty cool, actually. Barges go by all the time, and boats like the Delta Queen dock there frequently at the river park.

SEMO, at first I thought you had posted a pic of the Bond Bridge in KC before I saw the follow up.
