How Do You Feel About the Future of Auburn Football?

Ole Miss is getting 5* Recruits, Bama just won another NC, Texas A&M is a legit threat, ect, ect, ect. The SEC is kill or be killed and right now Auburn is looking mighty tastey
With all that being said, what are your realistic expectations for Auburn football? I don't know if I'll be able to answer this until the fall but I wondered if any of you guys had any thoughts or opinions on the subject at this time

Every team has its ups and downs. Auburn traditionally recruits for itself and every coach that has coached here since Shug with the exception of Barfield has had success.
I'm not worried.
I'm not worried.

I'm not worried so much as anxious I guess?
I think we'll have our answer in the fall but that's such a long time away that the wait is going to seem intolerable

Anxious is a good term to use when referring to my feelings on the matter.

I was hoping that a good defensive talent in this years recruiting would ease the transition of a new coach but I'll settle for anxious as well. It's kind of difficult to rationalize how we got to last season from 2010 but I'm in it for the long haul.

Middle of the road with a few good years mixed in-between. That Bobby P. could have brought us back to the Pat Dye (early) years.

I'm excited about AU football!

We'll be a bottom dweller from now on. We have no hope.

I want to see us play a few games but I'm cautiously optimistic. I've seen enough of Gus's offense to know that against average teams he is going to put up huge numbers so I feel good about the floor being at 7 wins a year. I know that with enough talent he can field a NC caliber offense. I know that CEJ can field a solid SEC defense and believe he has the right mix of recruiters and coaches to get us up to at least a respectable level of play. I think that the aggressive defense CGM has talked about fits better with his offense than the bend but don't break style that Chizik ran his 1st 2 years. It's going to take a year or 2 of average seasons to get there but I think we are on our way back to being the top level program we are used to seeing.

Ole Miss represents the rise of the bottom dwellers which would include Vandy, State, and Arky. All teams that we should dominate but haven't. There's also the chance that we struggles against them this year

Our recent demise has the shittiest timing ever. Everyone else in the conference save a couple of teams is on the rise or on the top.
Alabama- Best shite ever
A&M- Awesome and possibly still rising
Georgia- Really good
Florida- Good and getting better
South Carolina- good
Ole Miss- Good and on the rise
Arkansas- You know they won't go 4-8 again so they're on the rise
Vanderbilt- good and on the rise
MSU- goodish but probably digresses
Tennessee- Sucks but will improve
Kentucky, Missouri- Shitty and who the frick knows?
Auburn- collapsed at the perfect moment to be vulnerable to fricking everyone.

I am feeling fine about the program. I'm looking forward to what the new staff can accomplish.

I think this is exactly what I've been trying to say . . . The question now is how long will it take us to bounce back?

As long as it takes for Saban to retire. I hate admitting it but his little man syndrome is a boiling pit of rage that propels to frick the world as hard and as long as he can until he's satisfied.

And we all know he's never satisfied.
