Marty do many schools in the SEC stream games on their athletic websites?

Yes. If you find the game thread here on the rant most folks will link a video stream so you can watch.

I know Mizzou started to stream them a year or two ago but the quality was pretty bad. I would assume that baseball games are prime for the SEC network when it comes to fruition.

All I'm gonna say is I can't wait til the season starts!

I want to see how we transition with Coach Holbrook. We will miss Price more than Roth, imo. Price was just a CLUTCH closer.

We have Montgomery who showed a lot of promise in last years CWS so I'm thinking he will be able to replace Roth.

Havent been following much this year but wasn't Florida incredible last year?

Did they lose alot from last yr's team to not have them host a regional?

They lost 8 players to the draft, all who played significant roles.

Pitchers: Hudson Randall, Brian Johnson (also played 1B), Steven Rodriguez, Austin Mattox,

Also lost AA catcher Mike Zunino, SS Nolan Fontana, OFs Preston Tucker and Daniel Pigott.

All were pretty much badasses. I dont doubt that UF will reload but I am not so sure about hosting a regional - the SEC is just too much of a beast.

I think they could too, they will be one of the teams on the bubble of hosting IMO.

Easy host...Bubble of national seed. That's the expectation in Starkville this year. Anything less than hosting will be considered a disappointment across the board. We were one of the first 4 teams outside the hosting bubble last year, and we brought back all 8 position players -- plus 2 that were out with injuries and all pitchers from the national #2 staff in ERA other than Stratton and Reed. We've got 2 kids that were midweek guys or middle relievers last year with the same "stuff" as Stratton -- let's see if they can get it together mentally.

We've been picked 6th and 5th in the west the past 2 years and finished tied for 2nd both years. We will be picked 2nd or 3rd this year, so it will be interesting to see how we adjust to more of a favorites role, instead of the "us vs the world" mentality.

This is the first year with restocked upper-classmen talent at the level that we expect consistently going forward. Can't wait!

most of the streams are not free though (only one i know of that is is UT). so you have to wait until a fan from that school puts it up on justin.tv or something like that. unless of course you feel like buying a month subscription to whatever team mizzou is playing that week, which i doubt you do.

I think we are charging this year finally.. =(

All but one game was not streamed. That game for us was on ESPN. Now that we are SEC, I think the game of the week will be on ESPN and the rest will be streamed. We use Nu Lion. I know that is what LSU and a few other SEC schools use. It is good stuff IMO. They even have an app for my tablets and phone.

LSU could go a long way in improving their streaming but honestly I think it's more on LSU's end as opposed to neulion.

How could we fade?? WE return all 8 starting position players 2 of our 3 weekend starters all of our bullpen and our All American Closer

You need to do your research on us.

True, but I'd be surprised if your program doesn't continue to coast successfully, for a while at least.

I always liked Tanner a lot, sorry to see him out of the game directly.

Injuries, underperformance, cold streaks, stiff competition, big recruiting losses to the draft, etc.

Im talking in generalities here.

Baseball is like that dumbass uncle at christmas, you never quite know what the frick he's gonna do.

Mississippi State has a ton of experience in the bullpen. And a first team all American closer. I think we host a regional.

Only player that was lost that really affected us was Stratton. I think we had 2 or 3 seniors last year only 1 started.

Not to mention he is our new AD.. so I can't imagine because Tanner is gone suddenly the department starts to neglect the baseball program or something.

I still don't understand that move.
