Hearing Ridgeland's Vonn Bell has given #Alabama a "soft-verbal" commitment. Nick Saban visited Bell today at Ridgeland

It seems Chattanooga sources jumped the gun on him, but Nick Saban did sure things up on his in-home visit. I think most people expect him to commit to Alabama on NSD.

Apparently Saban in doing an in-home with the parents as we speak. Not good for UT but hasn't looked good since Dooley didn't hard press Bell.

Not necessarily. Vonn Bell and Tony Connor are very versatile. Both could play where needed in Alabama's defensive backfield alignment.

Yeah, yeah, not necessarily, but don't kid yourselves - Connor is ours. This pretty much seals that.

But great pick up for Alabama, no doubt.

Y'all....

This isn't as cut and dry as the situation with Nick Brassell.

Connor's visit with Bama wasn't as rosy as people are reporting. This commitment confirms that IMO.

Connor hasn't really said much publicly and.heard that the visit wasn't top notch.
With that said, I've also heard that his silence or lack of publicity is on purpose and there is a reason why he's being quiet or not as outspoken as some might expect.

Less than 48 hours prior to Deshea's in-home. Perfect.

He hasn't been outspoken for the entirety of his recruitment. I wasn't saying Bama wasn't a threat I was just basing my assumption on information that I received. Not far fetched really.
