& FWIW CBB was hired before CBJ, So the whole "He came late in the game" excuse gets no love.. Serious question, what the shite is going on?

We've cut 7 commits from the last staff which has led to a big drop. We were 26th on 247 the day he was hired and are now 62nd.
We'll climb a good bit in the next two weeks once we start getting commits again.

Makes more sense now, Any news on the 4* from Hawaii Pittman was trying to bring over?

A couple things are going on.
Both Jones and Stoops are for the msot part going after the same recruits that the previous coaches were going after for continuity's sake, which is understandable. Bielema is going in new directions. He didn't like some of the JLS/Petrino recruits so he axed their offers. I think this happened to at least 5 or 6 recruits but I'm not sure exactly how many. Bielema started pursuing COMPLETELY new recruits that weren't even on Arkansas' radar a few weeks ago and obviously it takes time to build relationships. It's all good though because we have a shite ton of recruits coming in for an official next weekend and the weekend after so I'm sure we'll get plenty of commitments then. Recruiting rankings now dont mean anything. February 6th is when it counts.

It's down to Arkansas and Kansas. I think it'll be pretty easy to win that battle. Could you imagine moving form Hawaii to somewhere as flat and boring as Kansas? At least NWA has the Ozarks

He's taking an OV here this weekend and then deciding. Bielema and Pittman did an in-home with him this weekend and it sounds good for us.

For one, that doesn't include the three commits that we picked up this weekend. UK also got rid of a few previous commits. What is amazing to me is that we are in front of UL. They act like they pull in top classes all of the time. They are probably near the top of the BE, but we are ahead of them and near the bottom of the SEC. That's what they don't realize about the SEC and UK.

Yeah they've got us setup to land better guys than we cut it seems. Assuming they land these guys of course.
The best part they've done imo is setting us up for 2014. They've already landed one of the top players instate who didn't seem high on the Hogs previously, the top '14 RB instate and have us in the top 2 currently for one of the top.RB prospects in FL next year. They're definitely off to a hot start with that class.
