Are LSU fans more distraught over Alabama's success than Auburn fans?

As an Auburn fan living in the belly of the beast, it is never fun to see your rival thoroughly dominate college football (with no end in sight) the way Alabama has. No doubt, there are plenty of Auburn fans who feel the same way.
But goddamn, I have never seen Auburn fans act the way some (notice I say some) LSU fans have acted here over the past year. Is it because LSU was so close to the BCSNCG and Alabama just ripped it away? Did 21-0 followed by this past year really frick you people up that much?
What gives, I say, what gives!?

Yes.
Auburn fans were never pu****s, IMO. LSU fans took it to another level.

LSU is easily the most eat up with Bama envy out of any rival school in the SEC. They have been a bunch of bitches since 21-0 and just getting worse.

WAY more. Auburn was at least relevant a few years ago. It's been 6 years since LSU mattered.

I'm sure Gumps would love to think so, I don't think there is near as much Bama envy as they would like to think.

Really, it has been a decade, backing into games don't count.

Yep.
We've come to terms with the fact that Saban has brought Bama back to a clear #1, in the state and now the country. We're more worried about trying to rebuild after the last two Iron Bowls.
LSU fans are still upset over Bama getting the rematch, crushing them in said rematch, and blowing the game this year at the end. Oh, and Saban. Don't forget about Saban.

I also agree with what you posted. There isn't as much envy as it is respect for the accomplishment....ahhhh frick who am I kidding frick yeah I want at Auburn what is happening at Bama right now. 3 out of 4 NCs and a win away in 2008. That shite right there...I want that...

Yes. And us winning this past championship has taken it to a whole new level. This past week has been bad. I've never seen so much butt hurt.

So there's not a large group of mouth-breathing douchebags on the auburn boards that freak out when Alabama brings home another crystal ball? I'd imagine going by y'all's post count, there's no way you guys are nearly as active on another board like TD/SECR, so of course it looks like we care more than auburn. But I highly doubt it. Besides, who isn't jealous at Alabama's run?
