Meh. I'm finally over it. I think about 'what could've been', and consider Coach Miles's place in CFB history with an OK Lite vote here and a play there, and I know the difference is razor thin between the two.

I'll get this off my chest and I'm done: Every SEC Champion this past decade got their 'just reward' namely: survive the best conference in the country, and get your reward against a cupcake in the BCSNCG. It's only fitting.

LSU was the only team to have not been bequeathed that honor last year (season). They played the toughest schedule in their history ever, than had to turnaround and replay their toughest game ever.

Congrats Bama. the BCS has been good to you, but the best coach ever kinda helps a lot too!

Be easy on me I'm trying to come to grips with the reality of it all

Great post, would read again.

This is why SECr hates LSU fans, other than a few greats.

Yeah 21-0 is a program killer. It's very hard to recover from that. It stays in everyone's heads. It explains the inexplicably like our losses this year, all games we were leading and had opportunities to put away

Many LSU fans swore Bama would get killed by ND. They were supposed to be no cupcake until Bama whipped them.

This
It is what it is. I obviously wish it was us but I respect Bama and will always appreciate what Saban did here. No point in being jealous. It's the equivalent of driving a Benz and feeling inadequate because it's not a Bentley. That's no way to live

Same here. Looking forward to making the trip to Bryant Denny this year. Hoping for another epic battle, but my bad heart could use a mini blow-out!

I'll admit a part of me wanted to see every SEC team burn after we lossed to Clemson, but I definitely did not think ND had a chance.

An easy way to call out those LSU fans that swore that was to make them put their money where their big mouths are.

I knew they didn't have a chance. I thought maybe it would have been closer.

If the SECr was a bar, I'd buy your next drink right now.
