cray cray. Last year Bama was a missed FG away from being left out and this year, if Ohio St. doesn't elect to play in the Gator Bowl last year they would've been left out again. Instead we're talking about them being a dynasty.

Who doesn't think that? 95 nebraska is the only team in the modern era who didn't need a little luck here or there.

Every team has luck in getting to the championship game. LSU certainly had luck in their game with 2 losses. But you have to win the game on the field once you get there.

No shite but all the dominant dynasty talk is a little crazy. Bama is just as lucky, if not luckier, than most as of late.

Yeah. Three national championships in four years is just a fluke. This is the way flukes work.

It is kind of funny that Bama is a national dynasty, yet they have only won 2 SEC titles in the last 13 years.

The actual NC games were no flukes but the road to get their was pretty lucky. A true dominant dynasty wouldn't need any help. If OSU just elects to not play in the Gator Bowl last year y'all are in the Sugar Bowl.

Ohio State still had a B1G championship to play for if they were eligible.

Against Nebraska, a team they beat 63-38 earlier in the year.

What's it like to live with all of these "ifs" and "buts?" I mean, you're so busy constructing these alternate realities that you forget to live in the moment. Just enjoy life, dude. Bama is a dynasty, and it's just so nice and great. You'll never be happy if you spend your time gnashing your teeth about what could have been. Hakuna matata.

Because it's a valid point.

bama won because they were bigger stronger and faster. Bama might get some breaks but they take advantage of them because of great coaching. Les miles on the other hand is busy eating grass

I find it highly ironic that a poster started a thread about luck, when their favorite team appears to be currently coached by Les Miles, The King of Favorable Luck.

LSU fans know that it's impossible to beat another team twice in the same season and that it's unfair to even have them play the game.
