It's laughable that message board "experts" equate a coach’s ability to them “hearing” about him and I would be willing to bet not one person on this board knew who Nick Saban was when he was Assistant Coach from 1977-1990 for Kent State, Syracuse, West Virginia, Ohio State, Navy, Michigan State and the Houston Oilers respectively. Rest assured that McDonald and Partridge are damn good coaches, as are most assistants in the SEC, regardless of whether TD football “experts” have ever heard of them or not.
