So who are the two other hires that coach B won't announce yet?

He stated that he has a linebackers coach that will "amaze" a lot of people.

quote:

"I know right now that I have a running backs coach that's hired as soon as he's done competing in his bowl game. I have a linebacker coach in place that I think will probably amaze a lot of people."

Any speculation?

Oh, and also:

quote:

"We'll run a 4-3. We want kids to be very, very agressive on first and second down. On third down we'll have fun. We'll create as much physical and mental pressure on the quarterback that we can."

He also said this yesterday when talking about assistants which makes me think it wouldn't be Shannon or Porter.

I really do believe good recruiters can be good recruiters anywhere. There's going to be a couple of more that will get announced where people will automatically link them to where I have been before.....either Florida or the Midwest, but it really doesn't matter. It's just an opportunity for guys to become familiar with the area I put them in.

As long as we are dreaming. I'm not easily WOWed.
Here's my wish list (both have Razorback or grew up in Razorback history):

Monty Kiffin - LB coach
Lane Kiffin - RB coach

Monty is the best defense mind in football, ask Barry Switzer-- remember the Orange Bowl 1976

Lane Kiffin is the #1 recruiter of running backs --remember Reggie Bush

Hawgeye has spoken, this is a done deal. Who do you think Gundy has selected as RB coach?

I can get on board with this. Here's what would WOW me:

The Juggernaut - LB coach
Sonic the Hedgehog - RB coach
Dr. Octagon - Team Physician

Lots of people would want the Hulk at LB coach but his players would probably be penalized, very little discipline. The Juggernaut teaches good fundamentals and would be very unstoppable. Also has a good catchphrase.

Sonic would be a dream, and I'm sure we could get Knuckles the Echidna for a lot cheaper, but recruits have no idea who he is. Lots has been made about how durable Sonic's players are, but I'm sure if they have enough rings, they'll make it to the endzone.

Dr. Octagon just knows a lot of rhymes for female genitalia. That's good for something.

That would WOW me.

Monty and Lane Kiffin though? That's just ridiculous.

Did you get off on me having wrong information for 3 months?

Congrats, I was wrong. Admitted so on this board. Apologized.

Cool.

Just saying you're about as credible as those on HV with less than 100 posts and their super secret anonymous sources.
