Well, I am getting buzzed thinking about Miami. I have waited 40 years for this game. Never thought I would see this matchup.
Who's going and please share your plans so others can compare.
My wife and I are flying Saturday morning to Fort Lauderdale. Taking limo to SoBe and staying at Boutique Hotel on Collins Ave about mid beach-
Planning on taking taxi down to 5th and do some drinking, eating and people watching Saturday night. Sunday, have reservations for brunch. Afterwards, going to 7th street and Ocean Blvd to see pep rally and concert running from 1pm till 8pm I believe. Alabama band, ND band etc will be there. More people watching,eating, drinking.
Take taxi back to hotel, freshen up for dinner.
Doing early dinner, then have tickets for Bama Bowl Bash at convention center running 8pm till 11pm. Afterwards, hitting the bars for a late one.
Monday- sleeping in late- gonna rest, maybe layout at beach. Have reservation on BowlBus leaving from 5th and Washington going to SunLife. Gets there around 5:30pm. Plan on looking around and tailgate and get into stadium by 7:30pm for the 8:30pm kickoff.

Flying down Friday w daughter and niece. Staying in Avetura Mall area. Renting a convertible. Driving down to Key West Saturday a.m. And spending Saturday night there. Eating dinner at Loue's Backyard. Driving back to Miami Sunday. Plan to attend events at South Beach Sunday including Pep Rally. Have tickets for ESPN Fan Zone outside yet he game and will get tickets for the Alumni tailgate when venue is announced. I have been waiting since 1973 and 74 to attend this game since I was a student back then. Will be chanting SEC loud and clear after many Rammer Jammers.

Not even thinking about it until after South Carolina lays the wood to Michigan. Once that's over I might give it some thought around the 5th or so.

Lets see. That morning I'm taking my wife to the OB for an ultrasound to find out if kid #2 is a boy or girl. Going to work the rest of the day. Going to a men's bible study group. Then watching the game at home.

Get to West Palm to stay at folks' condo on the 4th. Sit on beach and imbibe for 3 days. FAP to Saban on the 6th at approximately 7:30 pm CST. Limo ride to Stadium on the 7th.
