Good luck to him. Great kid and if he can stay healthy, should translate well to the league.

This is the right move. I really hope he can get healthy and do great. One of the greats and one of my favorite all-time SEC players.

What round does he get picked?

Late 2nd or the 3rd Round? Or earlier

Shame his injuries prevented him from being a legend. I thought for sure he'd win the heisman at some point in his career.

bet he goes pretty low..5th round or later. Too much of a health gamble right now.

It's pretty much been known for a couple of weeks around here - and we're pulling for him big time. If anyone deserves something great to happen in his life, it's him. And some NFL team will grab him up, rehab him and get him on the field.

Good luck to him, he was a great Gamecock and we were blessed to have him. I hope he recovers and has an awesome pro career. If he gets drafted in the 3rd or earlier though, it will be a big blessing.

Eddie Lacy will more than likely declare his intentions for the draft after the BCSNCG. Both should fair well as this seems to be a weak class for RBs.

No way man. Hope he does well, but if you can only jog in front of scouts come draft time, not to mention being the most undervalued position on the field, it may be a long weekend for #21. Hope im wrong

I think 3-4 rounder. I don't see him being ready for camp or preseason. I would pick him higher than those rounds though. He's the type of back NFL teams love.

I think he fantastic, but I still wouldn't project him as a top 3 rounder. He'll probably go in the 4th or 5th.

That is one thing that he will have working in his favor. An owner/GM won't worry about him getting in trouble and they know he's got a good work ethic and came back from injury before. He does have some on the field risk, but you won't lose any sleep about off the field character.

Good news for the Cocks as I have read on the internet that they actually are better without him!

Nice attempt at deflection relief PB. What you actually meant to type, what was in your head was, "whew! frick yes! Lattie is gone so now he will not be around to bend us over and have his way with us .."

When, in fact, it will not matter. Honestly, yes, we do seem to be a better team without Lattie - because, and this is the important part if you are capable of comprehending this ... we still have a good running game, we still have a stable of good backs (as proven by our record sans Lattie) and we are far less likely to go to him at every turn. Without Lattie in the lineup we're far more prone to spread the ball around, thus our offensive production has gone up.

Loved that kid though. Biggest heart I have ever seen step on a football field.
