You mean "we wouldn't have none of this talk" if Alabama wasn't afraid of Athens, GA.

Yes, we are clearly scared to play quality OOC opponents. Over the past few years we have played Clemson, Virginia Tech, Penn St twice, Michigan, and about to play Virginia tech again next year, not to mention a contract to play Michigan state in a couple years too.

That's more than 80% of the top tier teams in the BCS.

If those 5 are more than 80% of the BCS' top tier, I guess Alabama is #6?

College football's elite is Clemson, VA Tech, Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State and Alabama.

I agree.

You mean the team that just lost to Bama? Would easily have beaten UF as well.

Why do SEC fans give a shite about OOC. OOC is something weaker conferences should worry about for strength of schedule. Like it or not, the SEC respect/hate/reputation makes it that all you have to do is win the conference and you're in the Nat'l Title game. I'm all for extra bye weeks with these weak arse teams.

Beat UGA and LSU this season. Bama can't play everyone.

They're too scared to play a quality OOC opponent like Baylor. Our defensive coordinator put it best after destroying K-State, saying that at this point we could take down the might Bama.

I laughed.

I obviously thought this thread was made in jest to rile up some LSU fans.

It's sad to realize that Bama really is decending deeper into the "Boise Stateness" that is their schedule. I'd like to issue a preemptive Congrats for beating nobody with a pulse next year.

As long as Alabama has to play LSU, their schedule is legit in my opinion. They also won two in a row against us, which is nearly impossible these days.
