The only defensive player I know who truly had every opposing coach scheming away from him was Deion Sanders. And I hate that guy...but he truly changed the gameplan for every opponent.
(I don't consider double teaming a lineman or pulling a guard to block a linebacker to be changing your scheme...if we get that literal, then this happens all the time)

Plenty of defensive players have deserved to win it over the years. Te'o is not one of them.

Teo's stats are pedestrian at best. Look at Derrick Thomas or Terrell Suggs at their respective schools. Their numbers were off the chart!
If Teo get's the Heisman, it's nothing more than Kabuki Theater. He is NOT the "Most outstanding player in college football". Solid player yes but that is not what the Heisman is about.
