Just started a thread on SEC rant asking if Bama would be where they are today if Bear hadn't cheated. It was locked and deleted. Did I break a rule? This is a honest question. Would any of the tradtional powers be where they are if they had not taken advantage of the system in the past? Do I need to word it different and leave out specific schools and coaches?

Ask if Ole Miss would still be a dominate force if they started recruiting black players in the early 60s.

Bear didnt cheat bc in his day the ncaa first didnt exist then later when they did exist they didnt have all the rules they have now

It was still frowned upon. Perhaps I should've said if he was subject to current NCAA rules and regs?
