Your major OOC isn't even ranked - Washington. Whereas Alabama's major OOC is ranked 19.

8-4 versus 7-5, and you could argue Washington's schedule for being harder(assuming ND is an overrated team). I personally don't have a problem with schedules, but the LSU fans who do actually had a decent gripe in 2011, but I'll take the chance to have a historic season over having a little better chance of winning the national title.

Agree completely with the original post in its message and content, EXCEPT this:

While this schedule is far too easy for Alabama to intentionally play, it still includes LSU, A&M, and a potential SECC before getting to play in a national championship. The old Florida State and Miami teams, as well as the old Big 8 when OU and Nebraska were the only competition, were even easier. It was literally one big game the ENTIRE season until the bowls.

I think it's smart to schedule cupcakes now that we are going to a 4 team playoff. It's going to be a lot easier to be included in the top 4 than the top 2. An undefeated SEC team or a 1 loss SEC champion EASILY makes the playoff. Whether its puss ball or not, it makes sense

The key for LSU is beat the beat the Tide head to head in their house next year! If LSU can do that they should win the West. They would own the tiebreaker. LSU will have A&M and UF at home next year.

LSU fans have better things to do than commit suicide because Bama wins! Get over yourselves! Your day will come when you suck again. Karma is a biotch!

To be honest with you, not sure that Bama will be better next year. The biggest difference this year against good teams was the OL - of which they are losing the vast majority of it. Lacy is likely gone as well. Decent defense, but not lights-out big names you have to game plan around like a Clowney. Cooper is a talent no doubt. but he also benefited from single coverage a lot due to strong run game- go back to OL. However, Bama will always be strong due to the over signing that keeps the troops fresh.

My goodness. People act as if this year was the first time Alabama has had a strong running game. Alabama will have another strong running game next year. The offensive line may not be as dominant but they will still be solid running the football.

Cooper will get better and DeAndrew White will be back. Plus the freak of nature TE 6'6 OJ Howard will be an ee and ready to play and bunch of talented running backs.

There will be alot of player who rec'd alot of first year playing time coming back on defense Hubbard, Dixson, Clinton-Dix, Belue, Geno Smith, Pagan, Trey Depriest. The defense will be better.

Howard has the potential to be a Jimmy Graham or Gronk type of TE on the college level. I am not looking forward to it.

Most of the talking heads that studied S.Illustrated's mock playoff scenerio are of the opinion that SOS will most definitely come back into play. They all felt that #1 & 2 would stand out like they have the past few yrs; however, the difference between #3-4-5-6 will be a ball breaker & SOS will almost have to be a factor. It was already made into a big deal this yr, with all the eyeballing of bama's, UGA's, and ND's schedule. Add two more teams to these 3 and it gets ugly fast as to how to pick them. For example: the gator's had a better SOS than the dawgs, and if they had ended up tied, it mite well have been the determining factor. Yet, head to head, the dawgs won.

Its not our fault VT stinks. It is not our fault UT stinks. Sorry we have to play Kentucky. Id much rather travel to Gainesville or Athens then to lexington. Oh and to be brutally honest I think this years bama team will be the worst team in the next 3 or 4 seasons talent wise. This will def. be the worst defense alabama puts out for a while. Not a flame just being honest. We lose 3 OL a DT and a CB that contribute. Not saying were gonna go undefeated but talent wise this will be the worst bama team put out over the next 3 or 4 years.

You get to pick who you schedule OOC. Assuming other teams accept the game of course.

But I'm sure yall could have gotten someone a little better to play.

The A&M/Bama game will probably be for the west title considering LSU plays A&M, Bama, Georgia and Florida.

How the hell did A&M get out of a return trip to UF? LSU is definitely getting hosed.

A&M/Bama is too early in the season to decide the SEC West. A&M still has to travel to LSU in November.

Unfortunately you have to have to schedule big name schools 3+ years in advance and then wait.

A&M in 2011 scheduled USC for 2015-2016 and in the summer of 2012 scheduled Oregon for 2018-2019. Now we gotta wait.
