And I just learned about the 2000 South Carolina football season. Really cool turnaround. I've always ragged on Lou Holtz (and will continue to do so), but this is a damned good coaching job.

What are some of your favorite/most memorable football turnarounds? They don't necessarily have to be SEC, but that'd be preferred. Saban turning LSU around from 3-8 to the Sugar Bowl in two years was cool, but not one season. Probably still does it for me.

Steve Ensminger brought us out of the BBQ cellar and provided a threat to Auburn's dynasty in 2010.

One season turnarounds can be a kiss of death.

And you're just now learning of something that happened in the year 2000? Just how young are you?

I've seen people at USM, South Alabama, ULM and other colleges all wearing SEC shirts. Your argument is rather pointless

That's FOUR losses. Not two losses with combined say 5 pts. One, two, three, four losses. Ole Miss fans are so special.

Those were dark days. Attendance was still pretty solid, though (1st half anyways).

I have a piece of the goalpost from the game where we broke the streak. Also got a piece of one from a UGA victory around that time.

I don't even remember the circumstances that initially led me to take the UVA logo, but it's pretty damn cool. My signature betrays my actual loyalties, though.

Without too many specifics, I'm an undergrad right now. Started following CFB in 2003, which was middle school, didn't really get into it until 2006, which was some time in high school. 2000 was a little young for me.

Maybe my point wasn't clear enough for you...

Diehard Southern Miss fans that talked trash all last year have suddenly all become Alabama or LSU fans.
