I know we laughed at Chizik too, but we have been there and seen this show before. Unless there is an unreal talent at QB it won't work out. Can he even field a defense? What about recruiting?

They are going to be SOOOOOOO soft. They continue to lie down when playing real teams and get run out of their own stadium.

This was definitely a good ole boy hire by them. They once again hired someone who is familiar with Auburn and how they do things. It might work out decently, but I'd be shocked if they ever do much unless they get a truly elite talent at QB.

Not sure why everyone thinks this is such a terrible hire. Not the best hire in the world, but I think he will do fine. Malzahn was the only coach doing anything on that 2010 championship team and kept them from this season's disaster the previous season. IF he gets a good DC, I think this will be a pretty good hire. Not sure what kind of hire they were expecting.
Having said this, I always love to see a good meltdown, especially when it's the boogs.

Arkansas stole Auburn's lunch money today. If the hires were reversed, I wouldn't be as happy as I am now.
