The ptb are retared.... Might as well have kept chizik if this is the case because round 2 of jj's greatest phuck ups will make the last regime look like world beaters....

Its not that bad but its a cowardly hire that doesn't instill confidence of advancing auburn football.

It might be a good hire but we just don't know. He's proven he can run a successful defense(or has he?), but he has not proven he can lead a championship caliber team. But if you look at UF with Muschamp, Chip Kelly, Jimbo. All were coordinators before they jumped into the HC role at big time schools.

Smart wouldn't be a terrible hire... I like him better than malzahn, actually. Plus the last time we hired a UGA grad with substantial bama assistant coaching experience it worked out pretty well... maybe that's why pat dye likes him so much...
