For those talking down about NCSU, I look at them like A&M. They are a school with massive potential IF they get out from under big brother's thumb. If they join the SEC, they won't be little brother anymore. With SEC money, a decent fan base and a pretty good football track record over most of the last 15 years, they could be a competitive conference member in 4-5 years. They would also have an instant impact in basketball. Not a bad additional at all based on market size and potential.

Clemson fits the SEC so does FSU they are an SEC type team. I wish slyve could convine Fl to let Fla. state in.

I don't won't to expand just to expand!

Look how sorry MO turned out! we have the strongest confrence in football and baseball don't weaken it!

Play each team in your division, 2 permanents out of your division, rotate 2.

Even with bowls and a semi and conference championship, you still fall below the 12 games mandated by the NCAA. you can even squeeze 2 OOC games.

The only problem is that those OOC games are a money grab and if you do not make the semis you lose out on games.

That ends a long history across the roller ncaa of "rivalry weekend"

I just don't think there is a way. Least not one that fits well. They will inevitably make a decision that pisses people off

There might be complaints about the "competitive equality" of your divisions here...

I don't see the SEC going to a 9 game schedule. Most of these schools are very happy with the revenue brought in from a 8 game home schedule.

Instead of LSU playing in a 5th place bowl they will now play in the 7th place bowl.

Some of you people just don't get it. Expansion is about two things: new geographic territory, and the TV sets that come with it. FSU and Clemson give you neither of those. Get over it. Slive sees the states of NC and Va out there for the taking. Look at the SEC footprint if this thing goes through. It will be massive.
