What exactly was his diagnosis? Looked like a major injury the way he hit the turf. Could he have still played on anything that was torn? Didnt Josh Chapman play ona torn ACL?

From what I heard was that it was nothing serious just hurt like a bitch. Told them to put a brace on it because he was going back out. Heard it from a friend on the training staff.

I recently read where Jesse said once he realized he wasnt seriously injured he knew he could go back in and play--he said something to the effect of "pain is a liar." It sounds crazy, but when youre out there on the field, really dont know how injured you are until after the inital shock of adrenaline and pain subsides.

Got a nasty infection from a tat he got on his calf. It says "frick Tennessee" in crimson.

He has one more round of antibotics left to take.

I'm almost positive it was hyperextended. I did that once myself. When I first did it, I mistook it for a tear it was so painful to walk. But, it can easily be walked off. Just watching it, and what he did to come back makes me think it's just hyperextended

Good news then...just looked bad the way he reacted to it.

Sidenote.....any chance we see KB7 back for the BCSNCG.....I think I saw his rehab would be about 7 weeks from the time of injury

I've wondered the same thing. I think I read 4-5 weeks before he could start running again. I'm guessing it's unlikely he'll be able to play in the BCSNCG unless his recovery is quicker than projected.

I have to admit, we missed him more against UGA than I thought we would.
