If you have a problem with the schedules, blame A&M and Mizzou cuz we would've played UGA had we not expanded. The bigger question is when will Slive man up and listen to Saban about adding 9 conference games?

But South Carolina beat the first place team from the East ... again, and then got saddled with a much tougher schedule than Georgia who, I read somewhere on another board, actually has a picture of Mike Slive fawking a goat or something like that - which explains why they always get the favorable schedules.

Now, Bama, I dunno. I cannot comment on Bama but it seems to me like they played a pretty tough schedule in 2010, especially given how many of their opponents had off weeks the week before they faced the Tide.

I would be for that, too.

Saban usually uses good judgement when talking about conference or matters of competition.

Except his most recent "didn't win their division" miscue. Then, there's the "get back to Tiger Stadium" and holocaust references, too.

And then proceeded to lose to the 2nd place teams from both east and west...your point is moot.

should just make it 9 game SEC schedule, 1 permanent rival from the opposite division and the other 2 rotate off on even years. Then everyone gets a fair shot at Florida, Georgia, SC and then well mop up duty for Vandy, Kentucky and Auburn..

hey, Schedule talk again.

Does no one remember back before the season started? That there was no clear cut "leader" in the East?

Florida coming off a disappointing 7-6 season.
Georgia kicking off their RB, leaving them with a skeleton unit of True Freshmen.
South Carolina replacing some defensive talent and questions if Lattimore would come back healthy from his knee injury.
Tennessee with it's fully healthy group of WR's and an Elite QB.
I even saw some mentions of Missouri being a dark horse candidate, and James Franklin mentioned as a top 5 SEC QB before a single down. Missouri came into the league after winning 48 games in the previous 5 years.

This talk of easy schedule (and conspiracy!) comes off as whining while using hindsight as a club.

We should have known that those true freshmen RB's of UGA would be outstanding. That Florida's defense would get it together. That Tennessee's defense was even worse than anyone imagined. That Missouri was a complete trainwreck.

That Arkansas and Auburn would implode.

That this Freshman QB out in Texas was a mixture of Cam Newton and Doug Flutie.

Yes, please make it a 9 game conference schedule.

I think it's funny that the head cock is still talking about this. Even though he beat us back in October, he's still pissed that his team is at home while we're playing this Saturday

Enjoy the game stevie

We did have an easier schedule and I don't care. When Florida sucked and SC sucked no one cared. How was it for Florida when Spurrier was there and there permanent opponent was LSU. He mocked LSU regularly. Their toughest game was TN Bamas permanent opponent.

are you complaining on behalf of Tennessee?

anyway, the head to head between UT and UF determined the division in almost all cases - exceptions like Arkansas sneaking in there are rare

What happened the last time Alabama went to South Carolina?

I can't remember.

It was probably a long time ago, before Spurrier arrived and they got a little better.

Bama and Georgia did have an easier schedule this year. The winner of our game goes to the national championship game.

Deal with it

All this whining is horse crap. Did SOS whine about playing LSU in the 90's when y'all were heir doormat and the only tough team they played in the east was TN Bamas permanent opponent. That is why all of this is rediculous. Two yrs from now who knows what teams are going to.

I dont think there would be as much complaining if it werent for the fact that the schedules were essentially hand picked for this year and next year. If the rotation had kept then Bama and UGA play which would be fair play. However with Mizzou coming in I can slightly understand how that can change up, but when next year (hand picked schedule for the second consecutive year) yall get UK? Theres something screwed up with that. Yes programs are cyclical. Yes UT could come back (likely-no). At least have some semblance of fairness in the rotating side.

Mizzou, UK vs USC, UGA.

Its complete bullshite by the scheduling office. Bama and Uga are getting all the benefits of the "SEC schedule" but didnt have to earn it.

Well, if nobody whined, why was it changed?

I guess the SEC figured that one out on its own.

They sure dealt with it swiftly.

Just like they did this year, when they made nexts year's schedule.
