Then your count is off again since Charles McClendon had already been hired as LSU coach 50 years ago today.
Oh and counting Rein is absurd. It's not the same thing at all as it would be to count a Mike Price who is fired.

there was only 2 and I don't know why I added them to Arkansas' total. I didn't count interims of other schools. I fixed it though.

1980-83 Jerry Stoval
1984-86 Bill Arnsparger
1987-90 Mike Archer
1991-94 Curley Hallman
1995-99 Gerry Dinardo
2000-04 Nick Saban
2005- Les Miles
You're right best I can tell - should be 7 LSU coaches hired in the last 50 years... man the 80s and 90s were terrible RE: coaching turnover
