That maybe true but those 5 teams are shitty to say the least!GT, GSU, Awburn, Ky, Ole Piss and even UF has a shitty offense. I see nothing of merit here. The game will be won or lost in the trenches. I have a feeling our o-line will get arse raped badly! I hope I'm wrong.

These teams have obviously played other teams over the course of the season. Therefore....... UGA holding them to their season-long lowest points scored is an encouraging stat.

GT 6-6 and in the ACCG because Miami backed out and they were beat by MTS.
GSU well their our little brothers and should never beat us.
Auburn for Gods sake gave up massive point and yards totals.
Ole Miss will be good soon enough but not this year.
UF very good defensively not so much on offense.

Again, all the schools you listed have each played 11 other teams besides UGA.
The fact that UGA held each of them to their lowest points scored is.......... Wait!........Do I really have to explain why that's a good thing?

The topic doesn't say a good thing (but I'd go with that) it says awesome defensive stat, and I see nothing awesome about it considering the offensive output of said teams. Good yes, awesome NO.

Yep...that's the weakness of this team. It was seen as the weakness in pre-season and even though they've made progress, they are not going to match up that well against Alabama.. We got a true freshman at RT and a guy who really should be at guard starting at LT. Richt and company had a lot of misses and just plain bad luck in offensive line recruiting for a few years.
It will get better next year...Gates is the only senior in the entire three-deep...but here and now, against Alabama, it's going to be tough.....

Well maybe you and Jeff boy can get together and swap spit, rub each others balls and sing we are the champions! NGFYS read and comprehend, my argument is that the stat isn't awesome considering the teams we played.

You have no clue how hard it is to hold teams to their lowest point total of the season is do you? Come back when you actually know something about college football.
