It seems that most posters do not want an SEC team to win the BCSNC this year

Well, the teams with no real shot of playing the game(A&M fans are the only ones I have seen come out say they want the SEC/Bama to win the BCS). I especially see the LSU fans rooting against Bama and the SEC from winning the BCSCG.
Do you really not want the SEC to continue it's streak to 7? Hopefully, KState. Oregon and ND all lose a game and if Bama doesn't win the SECCG then I hope UGA beats the shite out whoever in the BCSCG.

Im tired of hearing the butthurt's whine about how mean the SEC is
and I'm tired of the SEC lemmings act like no one else plays football
so yes if it's not my team playing for it I don't care

I don't care. We probably deserve it after putting 2 teams in the big game last year.
I do want Bama to win the SEC though. It's better for our bowl chances.

Only if UGA. Would pull hard for them.

Best case scenario for A&M?
1)Texas and/or Baylor upset KSU
2)USC upends ND
3)Johnny Football becomes Johnny Heismanziel
4)Bama goes to BCSCG and owns Oregon thanks to A&M providing adequate preparation
5)A&M goes to a good bowl game and dominates a good opponent (while I would prefer to beat up either ND or OU in the Fiesta, I would be fine dominating whoever we play in the Cotton as well)
#4 could have UGA replace Bama, however, there is something to be said to being the only team to have beaten the champs but I want to continue the SEC dominance.

Not this year.
Both the Dawgs and Bama are in the SEC Championship game primarily due to schedule jerrymandering.
Neither team earned it this year.

why would a root for another team to win the national championship? that just makes no sense. someone else winning it doesnt help me at all
