Losses Suck But Provide Relief

I'm not trying to play it off as though the loss doesn't hurt. I spent most of Saturday night curled in a fetal position wondering how I'd go on with my life.
BUT, it does feel like a weight is lifted and I can carry on with normal life without obsessing SO much over each week's game.
Do you guys love football a little too much? Do you plan your week around a 3 1/2 hour game? I do, and when Bama is in the hunt for a NC, it gets even worse.
So, frick you aTm, you bunch of ghey fricking farmers, but at least I can enjoy my other pursuits a little more now.
Roll Tide and SEC Championship #87 coming up.

When one of the undefeated teams lose (and it will happen) Bama fans are going to go full retard on the Rant.

...lot of truth there. Teams tend to relax and just play their game after the pressure of "not losing" is gone. Now would not be the time to play Bama....the IB will get real ugly real fast.

You know it! My wife gets a bit irritated with it at times. Go Dawgs!

I plan my fall around 12 games.
Rule #1) Don't get married in the fall or I'm not coming.
Rule #2) Don't frick your wife from December to February and knock her up. Pull the frick out and stamp Hawaii on her back.
Over the past 15 years, I've learned to treat Saturdays as more of a carnival of debauchery than just the game since A&M has been down..... I get 12 Saturdays a year to act like a fricking idiot and be 18-21 again. Don't frick it up for me and plan on me doing anything else.

That's true, but I was just talking about with me, as a fan. And while I do play an important role with my lucky shirt and pregame rituals, I don't always directly affect the game.

Hell no. I plan 3.5 hours per week to watch AU and any other game in a particular week I want to watch. Usually watch about 6 hours of football a week I would guess. My weekends are filled up with other stuff, but I do watch AU every week.
You are in the bottom 1% here.
Personally, I watch at least 48 hours of football every week. Thursday game, 11am to west-coast-ending game on Saturdays, 12pm to 11ish pm on Sundays and MNF. When there is a rare Tue, Wed, or Fri game I watch that too.

I've got too much going on and other stuff to do than sit in front of a tv for 48 hours a week in TOTAL.
I usually go out and do stuff on Thursday nights so I'm not watching football. And I am at the beach pretty much every Sat in Sept and Oct.
Course there is a lot to do in south florida, and about 6 hours of sitting in front of a tv watching football per week is plenty for me.
And I'm not home much on Sundays and Sunday nights are for dinner and movie, so I haven't seen a Sun night NFL game all year either. I do usually catch most of MNF though.
